أدى الرئيس السوداني عمر حسن البشير اليمين الدستورية لفترة رئاسية جديدة الثلاثاء في جلسة برلمانية بالخرطوم حضرها زعماء أفارقة وعرب.
وكان البشير فاز في انتخابات الرئاسة التي جرت في ابريل نيسان بحصوله على 94 بالمئة من الأصوات.
وكانت هذه أول انتخابات تجري في السودان منذ انفصال الجنوب عنه عام 2011 إلا أن العديد من الشخصيات المعارضة قاطعتها.
